Advance Engineering provides civil and environmental engineering services to municipal and private clients in eastern Idaho and western Wyoming. The firm is located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and is licensed in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. The firm specializes in water and wastewater engineering, including drinking water systems, water supply and treatment, pumping stations and pipelines, wastewater collection and treatment, septic systems, and water quality and regulatory compliance issues.
Steve Wonacott, P.E., owner and principal, founded Advance Engineering in 2000. He has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, design, and construction, specializing in water supply and wastewater disposal. He has worked as a consulting engineer in the Jackson Hole area for more than 15 years. A primary focus is on the needs of small public water systems, many of which face significant challenges today due to aging infrastructure, increasing water demands, and ever-expanding regulatory requirements.

Services Provided
Advance Engineering provides services in most areas of civil engineering including development plans and agency approvals, sitework and utilities, earthwork and storm drainage, roadways and parking, water wells and water supply systems, and wastewater treatment and disposal. The firm also prepares Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments for real estate transactions. The types of services include:
